Join us for the 2022 Week of Prayer for Canadian Colleges and Universities. Origin Church, on the campus of the University of British Columbia, has been inviting students, churches, and campus ministries to set aside time to pray for students the week before the Fall Term begins since 2019.

The impulse to pray for students comes from the heart of God. We know Jesus desires to be friends with those He calls. But friendship starts with introductions! Who will do this? His followers lovingly make the introductions and create spaces where students get to know Jesus. The trajectory of life can dramatic change when a person knows Him and enjoy His people and word. Let’s ask God for a breakthrough movement of His Spirit among campus communities in Canada. We are willing to do it, but we must not do it alone!

Jesus said to His disciples, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you wmight go and bear fruit — fruit that will last — and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give to you. This is my command: Love each other.” John 15:15-17

So, Let’s Pray!

How to be involved:
