Introduction to a Toolkit for Christian Community Food Programs in a Framework of Food Justice
The vision of UGM’s Church Relations Department is that the Church and communities in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley are woven together pursing the common good and participating in Christ’s call for everyone to flourish.
As part of this vision, we developed A Table for All, a toolkit for community meals, with Christ Church Anglican Cathedral and Planted Community Food Network. The goal is to accompany organizations and supportive programs to revamp and sustain community programs, along with orienting them towards social inclusion, deeper justice, and better nutrition. We invite you to imagine with us how to get there together.
Join us for a review of this new tool and a discussion around emerging best practices for community programs.
