St. John’s Shaughnessy invites you to join us on a lunchtime spiritual journey, wandering through a series of watercolours by the Rev. Dr Marilyn Hames.
There will be food for the body and soul as you enjoy the light refreshments then step into landscapes that speak of… what? Life’s ups and downs? The wonders of creation? The ‘Way’? Contours of the soul?… What to you see?
Come and explore this expression of faith, offer your own interpretations and ideas, ask questions—enjoy the fun and conversation at our summer art-show and social get-together
What do you see? A picnic table, heavenly light, or holy ground? I saw those too, but also Christ’s invitation to the feast of his redeeming love as described in the poem by George Herbert:
