Since October 7th, the whole world has been watching with horror as we saw the killings by Hamas in Israel followed by the violent retribution by Israel in Gaza. The images and stories leave us all shocked and reeling with questions.
Join this online discussion featuring an interview with Dr. Matthew Lynch, Associate Professor of Old Testament at Regent College. Our desire for this 90-minute event is to provide space to ask and answer questions about this conflict and to reaffirm our confidence in the Lord’s care.
Matthew will cover questions like
- What are the challenges facing our ability to interpret events in Israel and Gaza?
- How can we gain perspective on the Oct 7 attacks and context of the Israel-Hamas War?
- In what ways can Scripture guide our reflection on these events?
- What resources are available to help us learn more?
