Ukrainian-Canadian pianist leads unique prayer for peace at Cathedral
Eugene Skovorodnikov has appeared in famous concerts halls throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, the U.S. and Canada. Born in Luhansk, he is a graduate of Luhansk Music College, Kharkov University of Arts and the St. Petersburg conservatory.
On Friday, March 25 at 7:30 pm he will take the stage at a performance in downtown Vancouver that is important for an entirely different reason: he will be playing at Christ Church Cathedral to accompany people walking the Cathedral’s labyrinth in prayer for Ukraine and to raise money for humanitarian aid for his homeland.
