Webinar Description: Join Rebeca Heringer, Co-Vocational Canada Researcher, and Ellen Duffield, Adjunct Professor of Leadership and Management at Briercrest College and Seminary, for an interactive half hour webinar (15-minute research presentation and 15-minute Q&A, followed by an optional 15 minutes for networking) about co-vocational congregations in Canada. Based on the voices of co-vocational pastors and denominational leaders from across Canada, this research shows key areas to consider when planning for thriving co-vocational ministries. Findings suggest implications for congregants, pastors, denominations, and theological institutions.
Presenter: Rebeca Heringer serves as a researcher with Co-Vocational Canada, a national initiative that supports co-vocational pastors and churches across Canada. Her work focuses on studying emerging ministry models and helping equip leaders with research and practical insights for faithful and sustainable pastoral leadership.
Presenter: Ellen Duffield is a Professor and Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Leadership, Theology, and Systems and the Paul E. Magnus Centre for Leadership Studies at Briercrest Seminary. She is a speaker and consultant with specializations in human thriving, leadership development, men and women working together, and the high cost of women’s low confidence. A mother and grandmother, Ellen loves time spent with family, canoeing, archery, hiking and coffee with friends.
