Description
We turn Homeward in this concert, presenting outstanding recent lyrical works by composers from BC and the Yukon. The title work is Lloyd Burritt’s “We Move Homeward.” Another Vancouver piece is David MacIntyre’s choral suite from “Love in Public” based on love poems of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Also the premiere of “Five Songs about Being” by Whitehorse composer Daniel Janke, and “The Bridge Builder,” a new work by Nelson composer Don Macdonald.
