The vision of Integrate is twofold:

1. To equip Christians on how to think theologically about the integration of faith and life.
2. To engage our city in conversation with Christian thought and practice.

Worldwide, there are nearly two million children in the commercial sex trade. Let that settle in for a second. Two million children have been bought, sold, or kidnapped and then enslaved. Two million. 

Sex trafficking drives significant profits for perpetrators – a subset of the $150 billion market value of illicit human trafficking.

Coming to understand the depth of the problem is only the first step. International Justice Mission works to bring justice to the sexually exploited through a four-part response: 

  1. Rescue Victims
  2. Bring Criminals to Justice
  3. Restore Survivors
  4. Strengthen Justice Systems

There will be a lecture type presentation from Phil Reilley followed by a panel discussion and a time of Question and Answer with:

Philip Reilly is IJM Canada’s Director of Development & Mobilization, for British Columbia. 

Originally from Scotland, Phil has called Vancouver home since 2003. A graduate of the University of Aberdeen with a degree in theology, both he and his wife undertook graduate theological studies at Regent College. Phil has held a variety of roles in both pastoral ministry and corporate risk management over the years which has provided him with some unique perspectives on ministry and the marketplace. A sought after speaker and commentator, Phil is passionate about equipping and inspiring a new generation of people from all walks of life to engage in the work of justice throughout this world.
