When asked, most organizations will indicate that employees are their most valuable resource.  This commitment was tested throughout the COVID-19 pandemic as employee mental health emerged as one of the most prominent organizational priorities.  Leaders became aware that supporting employee mental health and wellness is an essential aspect of employee engagement and contributes to a strong workplace culture of safety, inclusion, and commitment.

In this session, participants can expect to:

•          Learn about employee mental health and wellness including its connections to burnout and psychological safety

•          Identify key elements of an effective employee mental well-being strategy

•          Discuss suggested measures to assess employee mental health and wellness

•          Discuss ways to support employee mental health and psychological safety by investing in leadership development

This webinar will be led by Daryl Thomson, Principal at Well Workplaces. Daryl has over 20 years of human resources experience having worked in federal, provincial, post-secondary, health care, and not-for-profit sectors.
