Mennonite Church BC’s Creation Care Task Group invites you to a conversation with interesting panelists on how to be a voice for Creation.

With floods, forest fires, heat domes and global warming, Creation is calling us to act. The church needs to be a voice for Creation. Mennonite Church BC’s Creation Care Task Group wants to initiate a conversation in our congregations, asking, What can we do? How can we, as churches, get involved? What needs to change? What resources do we have in our congregations? How can our beliefs, traditions and scripture guide us?

On March 24, a panel of speakers will be exploring Creation’s call, looking at our sacred texts, observing how climate change is affecting people around the world, and listening to the voice of the land we live on and the voice of the people who have lived here since time immemorial.

In our congregations, we want to do our best to be a people of Creation. Please register and join in this conversation.
