You are invited to join Pomegranate Training & Planted Community Food Network for a 2½ hour participatory workshop for coordinators and volunteers of community-based programs for vulnerable seniors.

An estimated one out of every three people reading this will develop some form of dementia in their golden years.  This workshop will explore the nutritional needs of our aging population.  We will share practical information to help understand early signs of dementia and how to support individuals at our community programs.

Participants will leave with knowledge of healthy eating strategies to assist people with dementia and ideas for creating socially stimulating environments at mealtimes.

Who should attend?  Anyone interested in learning about dementia, caring for vulnerable seniors & building stronger communities.
