| The recent outmigration of Hong Kong residents to other host countries, including Canada, has implications for the development of Chinese churches around the world. This presentation describes the impact of Hong Kong outmigration on the development of Chinese churches in Canada through the lens of the global Chinese diaspora and missions. We shall evaluate how the influx of Hong Kong migrants affects Chinese churches in Canada in the areas of evangelism and church growth, cultural mediation, leadership cultivation, resource mobilization, and transnational connections, but it also comes with challenges and the need for adaptation.
